It would seem that if a person is a designer he must have very creative thinking and his brain must give out some original non-standard approaches. This is not about all designers, but definitely about Ilya. I can say that Ilya is one of the most creative designers I have worked with or know of. He thinks outside the box! In addition, he is always in a rush to do more than is required of him. He bypasses the problem from all sides and offers not only design solutions, but also useful business solutions: even new products or promotion strategies. Also, Ilya is an incredibly sweet and responsive person. He is a real treasure for our team.
We have been working with Ilya for a couple of years in a software development company named Qoollo.Ilya started as a middle designer in the company. At that time there was no design department at all, and our development teams didn't have any confidence in interaction with designers. It was the responsibility of Ilya to "penetrate" into the working process. After 1-2 months, he successfully did it, and demand for designers' services dramatically increased.Ilya demonstrated an initiative position and suggested form a full-fledged design department. He and a C-level executive together found the first junior level designers. At that time they become interns, and their mentor was, of course, Ilya. I personally have been watching how employees in his department evolve in terms of design skills. In 1 year he formed a team of 8 people, most of which he found by himself.I and Ilya attended The Big 5 Dubai Exhibition in 2021 as exhibitors. It has never been easier to write a recommendation for a colleague. I had the pleasure of working with Ilya at Qoollo. When he joined the company, there wasn't even a design department at all. In 1.5 years of hard work Ilya managed to create a full-stack design-department of eight people. Ilya organized a dozen qualifying interviews for applicants. Ilya was able to train and raise the qualifications of all the trainees and set up a productive work pipeline.
